Quirky power pop from Beijing
Clearly influenced by the Ramones, The Cars, and Weezer (blue album), these Chinese rockers really know how to write great hooks and melodies that you just can't shake. And the gooney-bird singer does a kind of punk Mandarin that's oddly endearing. Throw in the occasional soaring synth lines, some jerky experimentalism, and lots of catchy anthems, and you've got yourself a strange addiction that will need explaining. A real find!
